Abraham Ferrell Logan Obituary, Cause of Death – 31-Year-Old Dies in Des Moines Shooting

Abraham D. Ferrell Logan, 31, died after being fatally shot early Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Des Moines, Washington, leaving those who knew him mourning his sudden death.

According to information attributed to authorities and the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, Des Moines Police officers responded at approximately 1:55 a.m. to a reported shooting at a parking lot at 22231 Marine View Drive South.

When officers arrived, they found Ferrell Logan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers provided first aid before emergency medical personnel continued lifesaving efforts. Despite those efforts, Ferrell Logan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office later determined that his death was a homicide and listed multiple gunshot wounds as the cause of death.

Police said the person responsible for the shooting had left the area before officers arrived. Des Moines Police Chief Ted Boe said the shooting followed a dispute between two people and was not believed to have been a random act.
